My first tour was almost everything I’d hoped it would be. Pushing myself outside the comfort zone, visiting new parts of Australia and seeing the sights, meeting a lot of friendly music lovers and I didn’t go broke doing it!
Scoll through each slideshow below to see all the photos from the trip.
Taps Mooloolaba was my first show on the road and it was a blast sharing it with Jesse Taylor and the fantastic crowd!
Check out Jesse Taylor here, I look forward to working with him again.
While in Mackay I had the pleasure to play at the General Gordon Hotel, Kinchant Dam and Mackay Surf Club and have great times with both old and new friends.
The first and main thing that blew me away about Airlie Beach (and nearby Shute Harbour) was just how blue the water is, amazing! While there I enjoyed KC’s, Magnums and especially Anchor Bar overlooking town and the ocean and meeting some local musos.
Proserpine was a quiet night, but fun nonetheless while also catching up with a friend from Brisbane who was also there that night, it’s a small world.
Yeppoon was a beautiful town, and with the warmest welcome I could have from the owners of Pie Alley Blues I’m so much looking forward to going back!
A relatively untouched idyllic spot if there ever was one, I’m not much of a water pokemon and even I went swimming twice!
Airlie area bush tracks
I also made sure to check out a few local walking tracks around the Airlie area and enjoy the serenity.
This first tour went so well that I’m definitely planning more for the future.
When and where will they be? Wait and see!
See you soon!
