Nate Eggins is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist & award-winning science communicator based in Brisbane/Meanjin Australia.
He facilitates workshops on songwriting, science & critical thinking and sometimes a combination of both.

Option 1
Standard songwriting workshop for musicians of any level.
Solo, partner and group exercises in generating ideas + group performances.
Teaches writing, collaboration, performance & overall mindset.
Option 2
Critical thinking workshop for people studying or working in science & psychology.
Partner and group exercises in logical fallacies, biases and communication techniques.
Teaches awareness of the above fallacies/biases (we all do it), tips on how to overcome them and how to teach them to others with kindness.
Option 3
A combination of the above.
Teaching how to write songs about science & critical thinking.
Teaching how to incorporate creativity into science communication.
Option 4
Conference or corporate event group co-write.
Nate collects lyric ideas from the audience incorporating them into a custom song based on the topic of the conference, event or company goals.
Nate then performs the song with everyone in the audience singing along.
Extra time can also be booked for a general music performance as part of the package.
Workshops can be delivered in a crash course one hour format, two hours or an intensive half day.
Nate is available throughout the Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba area.
He will travel further abroad for the right opportunities.
